Attractions and sights can be so many things. It can be anything from a special rock formation in the mountains, to an educational and developing museum – or perhaps a visit to a local artisan.

Hovden landscape protection area, Lislevatn nature reserve and Vidmyr nature reserve. In these 3 areas, all vegetation is protected due to the special wildlife and flora.
There are not many rosemalte churches,
and with its barely 70 m2, Bykle Church from around 1620 is also one of the smallest we have in the country.

In Huldreheimen, the past has stood still.
Vatnedalsdammen is one of Northern Europe's highest rock-fill dams and makes a powerful impression,
and both size and design are impressive.
Byklestigen is an old and notorious path in Bykle municipality that today is restored as a cultural heritage trail. It is located 5 km south of Bykle town center and was the only road from Valle to Bykle from approx. 1770 to 1879, known for being particularly difficult and dangerous, especially in winter. Must be experienced!

Did the Vikings build their ships with iron rivets from Hovden? Analyses from the Gokstad ship tell us that parts of the iron used there come from Agder.
